Project Overview
The project will resurface Dimond Boulevard between Jewel Lake Road and the Seward Highway, Northern Lights Blvd between Forest Park Drive and Lake Otis Parkway, and Seward Highway between Tudor Road and 20th. The project may include drainage improvements, safety improvements, roadside hardware, ADA improvements, and utility work as necessary.

Dimond Boulevard Pavement Preservation Project
Project Description
Due to deteriorated pavement condition, the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) proposes to resurface Dimond Boulevard from Seward Highway to Jewel Lake Road as part of the larger project Anchorage Area Roads Group A Pavement Preservation. This project would extend the service life of the roadway and reduce future maintenance costs. Key design features of this project may include:
- Resurfacing
- Drainage improvements
- Structural section repairs
- Signage & striping
- Roadside hardware
- Vegetation clearing
- Utility relocation
- Guardrail replacement and repair
- Minor bridge rehabilitation
- Pedestrian facilities and Americans with Disabilities (ADA) compliant curb ramps.

Northern Lights Boulevard Pavement Preservation Project
Project Description
The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) will resurface Northern Lights Boulevard from Lake Otis Parkway to Forest Park Drive as part of the larger project, Anchorage Area Roads Group A Pavement Preservation. This project's goal is to extend the service life of the road and restore it back to good condition. The project will tackle surface defects such as ruts or areas with high roughness, by resurfacing the existing roadway. Other work may include improvements to:
- Drainage
- Targeted subgrade replacement
- Signage
- Striping
- Roadside hardware
- Vegetation clearing
- Utilities
- Bus stops
- Curb ramps

Seward Highway Pavement Preservation Project
Project Description
Due to deteriorated pavement condition, the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) proposes to resurface Seward Highway from Tudor Road to 20th Avenue as part of the larger project Anchorage Area Group A Pavement Preservation.
